Dr. Belete Molla Getahun is a prominent Ethiopian politician and philosopher, currently serving as the country's Minister of Innovation and Technology. With a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Addis Ababa University, Dr. Belete's academic work spans ethics, political economy, and intercultural thought.

A recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, he co-founded the National Movement of Amhara (NaMA) in 2018 and was elected its chairman in 2020. Under his leadership, NaMA won parliamentary seats, making a significant mark in Ethiopian politics. Since 2021, he has played a transformative role in national innovation policy, bridging philosophical insight with technology-driven governance.
